Wildflower

I think a woman's flower garden says a lot about her.

My mom is an organizing-fanatic, house is always clean, and she worries when something is out of order. So it only makes sense that her garden is organized. Each flower is in a specific place and the garden is in a perfect circle outlined in mulch. Overall, it is beautiful- stunning. Kind of like my mom. She may worry, she may stress.. but her over all persona is beautiful.

I told my mom the other day that I have no patience with organizing flowers. I insisted that when I had my own yard I was going to sprinkle wildflower seeds all over and see what pops up. Mom says, "you will probably get a lot of weeds." I answered that I was okay with that, they are plants too... What dictates a weed from a flower? My life kind of represents a wildflower. I am not organized, I like finding natural beauty in not-so beautiful things, and I am sporadic- losing interest in the everyday commonalities. I need depth, I need change, I need to be surprised.

I guess a flower garden does say a lot about a woman.
