The New Chapter

Lightly closing the door behind me I scrambled from my apartment for the last time, cleaning agents and bags in my hand. The rain hammered on the wooden stairs screaming caution to my already clumsy feet.
No time for thinking.
I handed a couple of boxes to my boyfriend and he walked me to my car.
No time for sentiments.
We hurried from the skies' tears as they soaked our clothes and curled my hair.
No time for a last look.
My car mechanically led me away from the apartment I called home for the last year. Away from the school where I met the most amazing people...who I laughed, loved and cried with.
Away from the world as a student since the age of five...and as my hand gripped the steering wheel I only moved forward into the new chapter of life as an adult.
Not knowing where my head would be resting in a month to come, but confident that the writer of my story is scripting an exciting plot.
And never running out of ink.

I really like it Em :) I'm glad the author of our lives knows where He's taking us. He has always known which blows my mind. It's crazy awesome to think about, not only the way everything works out but that He is the one who allows everything to happen. Wow. Awesome. Thanks for the reminder about how awesome our Father is. He knows where He wants your head to rest in a month :)

This makes me slightly sad, yet incredibly excited at the same time. I know the Lard has a lot in store for us, we just need to make sure to listen. Amazing, as always Em :)
